Thanks Randy!

Thanks Paul. The afternoon light through the vibrant spring green leaves is quite nice.
Thanks Ben, it's been growing on me in the last week. I'm glad you can see the narrowing of the streak as the eclipse happened.

This is historic Price Memorial on the campus of UNG. I planned this shot out way ahead of time, but it didn't quite work out the way I had hoped. First, the 20-stop ND filter was a bit too much (!)....
Here's an idea - look up the local art nonprofits or community groups and strike up a conversation with photographers. I've given away a lot of DR stuff to local folks met through groups like that....
Thanks! I've been so busy with work, the nonprofit my wife and I do the bulk of the work for, etc. that I have not made nearly as many photographs as I normally would...
Nikon D800E, 14-24mm, with a solar filter ripped out of a pair of glasses taped to the rear element for the sun images (camera stayed stationary). About 6-7 minutes between each image (I set the...
Film is drying. I'm unhappy with my work. For various reasons. A real miss from me on the film front I think.
I edited my digital photo, and least my first pass:

Despite forecasts of rain and heavy cloud cover, the day turned out to be 90% clear, with some wispy clouds passing occasionally.
I shot one sheet of 4x5, a 3-hour exposure with 20x ND filter,...
I have to work :(
Wasn't planning on that, but unfortunately lots of changes and increases in duties here lately have made it impossible for me to travel. However, we are still hitting like 80%...
Thanks John! Here's one more from yesterday, using a Tiffen Pro Mist #3 filter:

Hi guys! Feel like I haven't posted a photo in a long time. Because I haven't really taken any photos in a month. Probably one of the longest times in 15 years that I've gone without taking a...
I got one of those brokerage fees from UPS once for like $9. I told them no. Never heard from them again. I think they know they have no leg to stand on, or at the very least it's not enough to even...
I saw an advertisement recently from a photographer - he was offering FREE prints, just pay for shipping. I suppose from a marketing perspective, maybe it made sense for him - I think it was 5x7 size...
Same with Clyde Butcher.
I feel like in the last 5 years print sales have varied wildly, but overall trending down. However I've always thought that photography, especially more traditional photography, is very hard to sell...
Good thought though I bet it'll be the city itself profiting ;)
So I guess a local tourist town decided they were tired of locks being put on a fence, so they removed the fence and put concrete blocks, and then placed a big sculpture in the middle of town...
Been super busy lately, and just now got to a couple rolls of film from Kentucky I shot in January.

Like I said, wasn't much on the interstate, that was in fact my point. I was so tired after 3 weeks of constant photography along with a bout of covid I didn't have the mental capacity to do more...
In 2022 I went to the Tetons, at which point I was 3 weeks into a marathon road trip. I drove through Wyoming and Nebraska (and on and on to GA) in a marathon driving session with only a few pit...
Personally reading The Camera and The Negative cover-to-cover before exposing my first sheet of 4x5 or developing any film ever put me well ahead of the curve. While I definitely had to learn a lot...
Nice one John.
I am sad I didn't buy the 150SW back when they were $1500 all day long...
But the 120SW is still an extreme bargain - and makes a great medium wide 4x5 lens to boot with tons of...
Peter, I like the perspective - must be the same sculpture artist:

Very nice, all of the recent work posted. Got me itching to finish the roll in my Hasselblad today!
Sorry I missed this prior.
I have never seen anything like that. You might post in the main Screen Cezanne thread, which likely gets more views:

I've used Blix for 10 years with no issues personally.
I buy the cheapest 5L or 1 gallon kit and divide it up to smaller batches.
Thanks Roger. I knew what I had to do when I saw the circular sculptures! A lot of the film walk participants were also really keen to see the results from that lens.
Thanks Jon. For some reason the colorized one is giving me nostalgic vibes. Still will likely print the b&w in the darkroom! :)
Love the darker tonality and brighter liquid discoloration on that ......
Thanks Peter and Randy!
So looking at this night shot I was imagining what it might look like in color, if I'd shot it that way. I found an online tool for colorizing "old" black and and white...
Liquid electrical tape.
Also pinholes in the corners often don't matter as the folds block light from going far. Depends on size and how much you extend them (longer lenses, closer focusing).
Can you post a picture of the problem?

For me this leaves the forum borders the same so you don't...
Great idea Eric! I will have to think of a good negative to use.
