Recording an image on a sensor is akin to recording an image on color transparency film. And you are using b+w film.
I have Simmon's book and find it very useful. Practice, practice, practice is really the key.
My wife does not understand my photography at all. She supports me all the way though, as she knows I am a better person for pursuing my passion. I can't ask for more.
