It's an exciting film if you like pictorial results. There's nothing else quite like it on the market as far as I know. The spectral response for one, is unusual. Strongly red sensitive.

I use vanilla D23 regularly. It's currently my favourite developer, mostly in 35mm and 120. Used 1:1, I strongly disagree that it's in the camp of 'soft' developers. it's just as sharp as Adox D76....
