I feel woozy looking at this one. good woozy. i love how soft all the edges are, but still retaining definition. I always feel like my pinholes just look out of focus, and not intentionally soft.

I love this one, particularly the depth implied by the dropoff into the valley on the right.

2hr exposure with a pinhole on ektar. I think I'm gonna redo this one with my view camera, the softness of the pinhole is not doin the actors...
i love when the actors create a light cloud like that, i wish this one was a little darker though. just so that cloud popped out more.

This is something that I worry about going into the future. So far the elasticity has held up pretty well. I really wish they had springs on those earlier models. Gonna have to figure out some DIY...
Thanks for the input. I hope the rest of the negatives are ok.
I wonder if putting something down like duvetyne tape on the camera back would help against light leaks. has anybody ever tried...
Sorry to make a new thread, I'm sure there's been thousands of these already.
I just pulled a batch of negative out of the darkroom this morning and all of them have similar fogging. I don't know...
Just got back from Australia and I'm so jet lagged. Being in a darkroom huffing chemistry is supposed to cure that right?
Here's some images from my friends' Kat and Baxter's wedding in Sorrento,...

oh wow. I've been following her on instagram for a while, and I NEVER knew that's what I was seeing.
oh, where was this local production? I've found that ektar seems to react the best to stage lights. nice to see more people trying it out too.
I never use ND filters for mine. just stopped down...
This is what I suspected. Most religious landmarks I've visited have had rules like this. I'll do some more research.
Here's a new one of a play I've been working on all year. 90 min exposure, 210mm caltar lens, f64.

The lens barrel is about 75-80mm wide, and about 7-9 inches long. the barrel that...

Friend is on a flight back to brookyln right now, she managed to pack that stuff up so we can get it next time we're in town. At least she grabbed me that lens and some film holders.
My best friend just went back home to louisiana for the first time in many years and discovered a shed filled with camera gear at her late grandfather's house.
These are the only two photos she...
it's been a long time since i've attempted to do this with digital. back in those days i had such an entry level dslr that i could only do a maximum exposure time of 5 seconds. film allows me to do...
I've been doing a series of these for a few years now, I've posted some of em in the pinhole thread. I was wondering if anybody else in this forum does these too? I know I'm not the first, I've...
Ah, Narcoossee was my first reenactment when I was 11 years old, before I ever became interested in photography. I missed some LF opportunities in my early twenties because I was chasing girls.

So my friend Kat and I totally stumbled upon this one after making a series of wrong turns outside of Taos (where she lives). Had to pull over an set up the view cam. Only later in the...
my cameras are not exactly secret, they're hung up in the catwalk in the back of the theatre with permission. main reason to conceal is that stage actors get neurotic about cameras, even if they...
i guess it's time to break out the view cam for this project. one of the reasons for going pinhole is how inconspicuous my camera was.
the sample image is without any NDs at all. and i've used the mr pinhole calculator to construct my camera. the focal length is 90mm with a .3mm hole i believe.
i'm not necessarily married to...
