It might be a bit infrared. I didn't use any IR blocking filters. Flash doesn't make IR, but I might have had the modeling lights on.

Thanks. I got the Thompsons as they were cheaper, other lenses like this cost a lot more. A bigger lens would be nice but mounting would be an issue. I hope to take some outdoor color samples later.

That article is a misprint. That sensor is actually 165mm x 27.5mm. It appears to be very good in noise and readout compared to others.
