That's an interesting comment; I had not looked at it that way. Thank you.

From my back yard. Sinar Norma with a 150mm Nikkor, on Tmax-400 developed in Xtol.
This was in September at Happy Isles in Yosemite. Shot on T-max 400 and developed in Rodinal.
>>I thought this solitary rock with a single leaf just had a very simple, elegant beauty to it.<<
You were right.
At Fort Winfield Scott in the Presidio, San Francisco. Shot on TMax with a 150mm Nikkor and a Sinar Norma.
Getting away from the computer is underrated.
Many people had a grandpa or uncle who owned a Speed Graphic.
"Hasselblad" is a generic word for "big complicated-looking camera."
My wife in her garden, taken with Frank's old Sinar Norma on Tmax 400.
I think I posted this already on a different thread. This was taken with a Speed Graphic at the Schellevile airport in the SF Bay area.
I would say that (black and white) 4x5 is *only* worthwhile if you develop your own negatives. Having someone else do it is too expensive and removes most of the control over the process.
Tree stump in the Marin headlands. Comments welcomed.
Shot with a Sinar Norma and Nikkor 150mm lens, on Tmax 400.
As of this evening, 49.997 years.
An abandoned hangar at the former Castle AFB in Atwater, California. Feel free to offer opinions.
Not handy. It's at Schelleville airport in the North SF Bay area. I need to get back up there.
How about an airplane?
Actually this does not sound like a great combination. Too easy to get lint and dust on your negatives and spilled chemicals on your fabrics.

Pick up a couple extra for your Volvo while you're at it.
Love the decor. Without the laptop, it could be a set from "Mad Men." Perhaps they can work your camera into an episode.
Cadillac fin, medium format Tmax 400, Speed Graphic with roll back, 150mm Nikkor-W
Eduard, sorry, but I'll be keeping this together as a matched set.
Yeah, it's like the love child of a Leica and a Bridgeport milling machine.
Probably; she is confident enough as a supervisor that she is content to take a nap while I'm working.
I left a 300mm Nikon telephoto on a pedestrian bridge. It wasn't even mine; it was a rental. When I realized my error 10 minutes later, I ran back and it was gone.
I posted an ad on Craigslist...
Frank Petronio's old Sinar Norma in its new home, with my assistant.
Since nobody wants to pay for checking a bag, my experience now is that your chances of getting two bags into the cabin are pretty slim anyway. Overhead bins fill up instantly. I've given up and...
Wow, and I thought that only Leica did Hermes or Gucci editions.
At a Photoshop, of course.
Seriously, here's another vote for Freestyle.
With 35mm ... carefully set up a group shot, balance the ambient light with the flash (it was near sunset), shoot several, change flash level, shoot several again, hand the camera to a friend so I...
Thanks!
Now that's just talking silly. If it weren't all true, why is the model of the ship in the Smithsonian?
(it's been a long week)
Is disposal of the E-6 chemicals a problem, or can they just go down the drain?
Somebody already tried that experiment. The result is the Internet.
This is in the same universe wherein ships operating in a vacuum have to bank into a turn like an airplane. It's all done because somebody thinks it looks cool.
I thought he took over the Enterprise once, 'cos he was mad that Capt. Kirk was flirting with his wife.
Dang. The Thread That Wouldn't Die.
Folks,
To follow up, I picked up some Xtol and sundries this weekend and was able to process several negs, with more on the way. Looks like this will be a workable system. Thanks very much for...
Agreed, but the FR tank is what I have right now. :) In any case, the single-sheet processing is only for test purposes and learning. Eventually of course I would be processing multiple sheets at...
Very clear, thanks. Regarding the large chemical amount, that reminds me of what may be a silly question. I want initially to develop one sheet at a time so I can experiment with timing. I assumed...
Yesterday I acquired an old FR daylight 4x5 tank, and I plan to try it out this weekend. I have developed 35mm film in a 35mm daylight tank exactly once recently (Tri-X in D-76), so this will be a...
If you make one, we will need to *dock* your pay.
QT, I have never sold a print, but those that I bought have been signed on the print itself with the extra border that you describe.
