All great suggestions so far.
Does this problem exist on just one lens or all lenses? If only one lens is a problem then the sync port might be bad/loose on that lens.

Welcome to the LF World fellow DFWer!.
Thanks for the article!
Love the images.
Love his work.
Short answer, no.
The Pocket Wizard operates on a different frequency than the Raven. They're incompatible.
I know Profotos are expensive (believe me I know), but the B1X head has a sync port for...
Re: Will I regret not taking my view camera to Big Bend NP?
Do you plan on making many more trips to Big Bend in the future? This might weigh into your decision ...
Indeed, very nice work.
I'm sure a lot of people will frown on this idea but ... in my early days of commercial photography we almost always used CC wratten filters behind the lens. We simply rolled a piece of black/photo...
Thanks for this posting.
I enjoyed watching it. Learned a few things.
Livin' on the edge!!!
Same here. Just photographed it on a Sunday when it was closed.

Very inspiring! Congratulations.
I don't know if this helps or not, but I always use Pocket Wizards with my Dynalites. Works day in and day out. If you can't get the IR transmitter setup working consider Pocket Wizards. Work on any...
Very nice. I'm sure it was a lot of work!
How long will the show be up?
Hi Terry.
I was in Big Bend the first week of January. All I can say is it's called BIG Bend for areason. It's hard to do it justice in two three days. I stayed in the Chisos Basin campground which...
I put twin check numbers that labs use on all my holders. Now they all have unique numbers. I then write in my notebook any information I need associated with that single piece of film.
I use Red River paper Lustre for all my color printing on an Epson. No complaints, and I might add nice people at Red River.
I had to Google map it but it looks like an awesome place!
Best wishes and success in 2014 to you.
Also the sliding back is used for stitching. With pre sets to register the back in place.
There is no "wiggle room" using a digital back on a view camera. Everything has to be precise.
Got it! Thanks for the good info.
Looks like nice weather is forecast for Saturday. Sunny and high60 's.
I hope I can make it.
Hmmmm... It's not showing up at $12.50 a board. It's over $15. each.
Still looks like a great resource. Thanks.
Seriously funny.
Done.
Best wishes for the new year!
I've always done change mode to LAB select lightness layer and do sharpening there (supposedly less noise) then convert back to RGB mode.
Isn't winter ALWAYS coming in North Dakota?
Looks like it was designed by Dyson vacuums ...
The fan will suck all the pet hair up from the floor and vent out the top.
Keep it simple.
The "size" of the light has to be relative to the size of the item you photograph.
In my experience, lighting is either an additive process or a subtractive one. You get yourself...
Nothing scary here. Welcome esquared!
If anybody is in the Dallas Fort Worth area consider seeing the Big Pictures exhibit at Amon Carter Museum. It touches on a lot of what is being discussed here....
How was the show? I ended up working all day Saturday and couldn't make it.
Hope to make the next outing.
Sounds great. I might bring along another photographer with me.
I too have signed up. Best wishes for you and your organization.
I agree with Pawlowski. I find that in negotiations it's best see what the other side is offering first, then if it's better than what you thought it would be, great! If it's worse than you thought...
If you are looking to assist in the NYC or LA commercial photo market I would first suggest you seek out photographer's work you like. The Workbook, Google, etc. are your friends. The ASMP workshops...
It depends what market you work in. Where are you planning on working?
I hire assistants all the time, but not as LF assistants. LF film just isn't a part of the commercial photo world anymore....
Hi Eugene!
Yes, I remember that LF outing with much fondness.
Let's all do that again soon.
Brian
PS - Jeff, these LF get-togethers are great. Hope to see you at one in the near future.
Welcome Jeff.
All I can say is, beautiful.
