Steve,
I just read in the second update that he is looking to borrow an Expert Tank. Maybe you can help.

Kodak’s D76 document suggests on p2 that you can use 237ml of D76 1:1 to develop 80 sq in of film if you extend the development time by 10%. I haven’t tried this before so you may want to test this...
I just noticed a few days ago that Kangrinpoche has finally gotten around to launching their camera that was first discussed at the beginning of this thread 5 years ago albeit on Kickstarter. If you...
I have both cameras, and I like the Chamonix more. There is nothing seriously wrong with the DLC2. The Chamonix was simply easier to operate, feels like its better made, and represents a better value.
I don't think you can use the BTZS tube with just a changing bag. There are a few videos on YouTube that will show you how it works. You need to open the tube to pour in the developer. You will end...
BTZS works well and allows you to tailor your development for each sheet. If you use Jobo, you basically surrender one of the key benefits of large format photography. When you think about it,...
What is the name of this Hong Kong-based bellows manufacturer? Would you please also list their contact information? Thank you.
Welcome.
I hope you've had a chance to make some darkroom prints. Seeing the prints makes a world of difference to me.
Would you like to share some of your photos?
Has anyone used this camera turned 90 degrees to get a vertical composition? How did it handle? What was your experience?
Congratulations on your success. You will make lots of mistakes, but that’s also an opportunity to learn something new. I hope you get a chance to make physical prints in the darkroom. I think you...
I think you are going to have a blast with your new 8x10. Now if you can just find a suitable 4x5 reducing back for this camera and you’ll have the best of both worlds.
I prefer Paypal, not because I don’t trust the counter party, but rather out of convenience. I even make transfers to my family using PayPal.
Paypal delivers a lot of value. Why would you not pay...
I think you are off to a great start. I am shooting with Shanghai GP3 lately and developing it in Rodinal. How are you developing the negatives in a take away container? One sheet at a time or a...
Well, I’m glad you have not been discouraged and given up. It’s easy to blame the equipment when all it takes is more practice. I hope you get a chance to print in the darkroom. Personally, seeing...
Well, I'm surprised to hear of all the incidences where people have been able to bring their tripods on to a flight. I had a small hexagonal wrench less than the size of my pinky almost confiscated...
Have you considered ordering from Fotoimpex in Berlin?

I have tried Perceptol 1:10 stand development for 60 minutes. I believe an EI of about 6-12 is appropriate to capture details in the shadow area. This film requires a very short fix time. See the...
Fan Ho was one of my favorite photographers. I purchased his latest book, a revisit of some of his old negatives, last year. His passing marks a sad day.

I noticed that you used an acidic stop bath before the fixer step. I believe you are using an alkaline fixer which should not require an acidic stop bath. I know a water bath is recommended instead....
I made the same mistake recently. I was shooting flowers outdoors. It was early in the morning on a cloudy day where the sun only poked its head out every so often. I also exposed the Acros 100 film...
If you have a 1L Patterson tank, you can buy the Mod54 device - holds 6 sheets max.

Congratulations!
Not all the stores stock the film. Assuming you are going to Tokyo, your best bet is to go to Shinjuku or Akibahara. I usually call in advance but that's because I'm buying a whole bunch to haul back...
This may be of use to you: http://www.silveruser.ca/Manuals/LPL7452.pdf
If you look on the figure on page 9, it shows you how the enlarger is wired. My interpretation is 11D is connected to the...
It sounds like your power supply is plugged directly into the wall socket. Instead, the power supply should be plugged into the timer which in turn is plugged into the wall socket. The timer...
What about fotoimpex.de from Berlin? They sell Adox and Fotoimpex branded archival clear sleeves. Do people have negative experience with these products?
Thank you for sharing.
I have recently started to print on Harman direct positive paper. According to the data sheet, it is equivalent to about 3 1/2 - 4 grade paper. I would surmise that if the negative was developed...
I have used Dektol, and it seems to be fine.
Thanks guys. I wasn't aware. But upon reflection, it makes sense.
Steve, is that only for Iceland (illegal to pull off on to the shoulder) or also true in the United States?
I use the Mod54 device. It's easy and works quite well.

I use the same dilution ratio regardless of how many sheets of film are in the tank. I use a Mod54 device which allows a maximum of 6 sheets in the Patterson tank. But I think the rationale applies...
His process appears similar to the bleach and redevelop sepia toning method. But why does he include an extra step of exposing the print under light after he bleaches?
