That is so amazing. Great job!
Thank you!
That's quite an amazing compliment, thank you!
I love Yosemite, it's my favorite place on earth. It's very difficult to find new views. I don't know why I never scanned this previously when I did...
Thank you, it was a surprise when I was going through some old negatives. Didn't even know I took this one.
Thanks Chassis, I appreciate it!
So I was digging through some old negs and found this one I took a while back. I know, it's cliche but whatever. Enjoy!

All that I remember of the exposure was that...

Robert,
The economy in San Diego is usually pretty "strong." Cost of living is pretty high as compared to most places. I assume you're military - your BAH will be about the same if I'm not...
Rock on, I hope you got it for a good price! Look forward to seeing your first tries with it!

"We gotta get some ghosts" haha That's great. I love how the wind seemingly picks up right before you make an image and dies off just as soon as you're done. I'm sure that probably has to do with him...
All,
Well, I know I've been here a while, but I finally moved back home to San Diego... If anyone around here wants to get together and shoot I'm game - just need a lil bit of notice.
-Brian
Lachlan,
To be honest, I have never sat there and measured it... But for what it's worth, I don't get the circling at the edges.. I used a 400mm on it and it did, but that's to be expected. Maybe...
Hugo,
Sweet, I'll be doing what I can to make it up North to ya! I think the wifey will be in town, so I'll be good to go. (Gotta have someone to look after the kid, after all.) I'll be riding...
Lachlan,
I don't have any problems with my 210mm... 72mm, I don't know. Just getting my 90mm on a recessed board to work with my camera setup is a pain so I'm not even attempting the 72mm. The...
Steve,
You gunna post more video and/or photos?? Would love to see some more of it... You got any quality sites on the history of the bridge?
-B
You! Schedule the next SD/LA get together :)
Hugo,
Any more slots open? If my wife isn't at sea I think I could swing it.
Thanks,
-Brian
Sandy,
I'm sure if you went by the letter of the law that would be a correct assumption. I guess I'm safe in that respect. Although, I recall somewhere saying if it had movements of some sort it...
Leon,
You can always feel free to roll down here to San Diego and use mine on an outing to see if it fits your needs.
-Brian
That rock you mentioned (@1:43) is kinda nuts. If I had seen that while filming I think I would have made a quick exit. I assume is a bridge that's still in use as it sounded like there were cars...
Leon,
Thanks a lot, I appreciate it. I actually don't have a true 6x17. I use a DaYi 6x17 back for my 4x5. It extends the back out to cover it, although you're limited by the lenses you can use...

I agree with Steve. After being to Nagasaki's ground zero, they said that grass wouldn't grow there until the late 2000's and it's one of the most beautiful parks I've ever been to. While I'm sure I...
Mr. K.,
Sorry to hear that your new year is starting off so badly. I hope it works out for you and doesn't cause you much stress. I had a situation like Kirk's and haven't seen any money nor can I...
Maybe it's the story behind Moonrise? Sometimes people like photograph with a story behind it. I do have to agree with kev on page one of this post that after seeing a couple of actual prints (One in...

Wonderful looking image David, thank you very much for sharing! What was the exposure time and the weather like that day, our of curiosity?
-Brian
Wish I had your luck, Colin. The person I was talking to almost seemed like he had no idea what an Epson V750 was and did.
Kickass shots David!
Have you ever dealt with Epson's voice tech support? It's not wonderful.
Because of the focusing distance from the scanning element to the film itself.

Come back, ONE YEAR!
I read a number of places the guy had a lot of knock off stuff. At least we know he now had a little bit of taste. At least that money raised will go toward the people that this rat bastard robbed,...
Makes me wish I was on the West coast sometimes. Jock's work is awesome. Let us know how the show is QT!
If you need some more help, I know a few people who own Cirkuts... Just PM me and I'll do my best to put you in touch with the right people.

This may provide a little more help...

Exactly. If it's there and they want it, someone will find a way. Wonderful world we live in, isn't it?
Well, I suppose he's set legally since he's at 140% of the pledges he requires. It sucks, but I agree with the chatter down below that he should go after the distributors.
That whole situation...
Vuescan is good too, I'd recommend that over Epson Scan myself.
Have you tried it? I've seen positive differences with mine.
