    I did a photography degree a few years ago and the darkroom professor swore by the 1+7 id11/d76 formula as giving the best possible tonal range, obviously by mixing the individual chemical elements...

    I think that my 5x7 enlarger's condensors are too small for 9 1/2" negative.
    I will try the cold light head that came with the enlarger, but it is very old so i can't see it working long.

    I mounted an 80mm and a 50mm lenses and they don't work. I think this is because it is a 5x7 enlarger with huge condensor lenses. Maybe i need to change them for smaller ones?
