    You might also consider the RRS TVC-33 tripod. It has a load rating close to the Gitzo 55xx series and the weight of the 35xx series. The Gizo Systematic series had/has (not sure if they fixed it)...

    I checked 6 sites and the price seems to be standardized at $69.95/ 110 ml cart.
    It there is to be savings it will probably be with shipping.

    I have had mine for a few day and love it, especially the paper trays. My 3800 went to a good home, a student, and he is in heaven.
