Hi,
today I have developed two sheets Fuji HD-M in Pyrocat HD (1+1+200), 20 grd C, 12 Min.
This seems to be a good point to start with.
Thanks again for all advises.
Greetings,
Horst...
Thank you so much all,
testing is on the way.
Will report then.
Greetings,
Horst Schmier
Thank you so much for your helpful advises.
There is a question left : What would you say about developing time when dilution is 1+1+200 .... double time ?
THX,
Horst Schmier
Hi,
I am using Fuji HD-M (X-Ray) 5x7 sheets in my Plaubel Peco Profia.
My beloved developer is Pyrocat HD.
In standard dilution (1+1+100) the time for developing is around 6 min.
But there is...
Thank you so much for all your answers. I see the point :-)
Hi all,
there are a lot of interesting lenses on sinar boards, but without shutter, in the bay.
Can I mount these lenses without shutter in a normal shutter, like copal ?
Or are these lenses...
Hi Ray,
that picture looks very well !!
Thank you so much.
But, sorry for my bad English, I meant the use of the Multigrade Filter (0 -5)
They where used normally with an enlarger and the Multigrade Paper.
But I would like to use...

I have now coated, exposed and developed some plates (4x5") with liquid foma with satisfying results.
As I am a fan of Pyrocat-HD, is there anybody who tried...
@Kirk: Many thanks for your hint. Meantime I have bought just that type of aluminum panel, 0.5 mm thick, and have done a new slider.
@All: Thanks a lot for all your hints, it helped much.
Horst.
@Randy Moe: Done ...:-)
Thanks a lot Jim C. and Randy Moe for your hints.
Very interesting. Unfortunately there is not so much Graphic
Gear in Europe, but a lot in US. And shipping fee is mostly expensive ... ;-)
Hi,
the original slide is now perforated and is as a result
covered with tape. Therefore, it is difficult to pull it out
or insert, which leads to further bending, cracking, and light leaks.

Hi,
Today I visited my local photo-shop (driven by a graduate photo-engineer ):
And lo and behold: A lens / lens group was installed incorrectly!
Now I can also see the image of which I have...
Thanks again !!
@Peter : the outer diameter is rather exactly 60 mm. That looks at least fine. IŽll call Rodenstock at Tuesday, tomorrow is still holiday in Germany.
Horst.
Thanks a lot for all your nice advises and hints.
There is no index screw (though I can see the thread for it) , the shutter sits plane on lensboard.
@ Bob: IŽm curious about no serial-number on...
@ Gem : That is an interesting question, course I donŽt neither know where this screw should be nor I have removed some thing.
The lens came on a Horseman board. I removed front and back element,...
@ Peter The overall length is 65,8 mm. I think the missing 0,2 mm should not be that problem ...
Thank you so much for your nice responses. IŽll try a call at Rodenstock.
@Leigh It is mounted in a Copal 1. There is only a rather thin spacer under the front cell.
Hello,
have this glass of Rodenstock on a Technika III 4x5 in use; came in Copal 1.
Since it was the first lens to this camera, I was wondered on the
"Difficulties" when adjusting the image. For...
Dear Andrew,
thanks a lot for your comprehensive description
of that problem.
You have pointed out all the things
I have to bear in mind.
Regards,
Horst
Hi,
many thanks for all your hints.
Indeed, it is not a good idea to shorten a IV-type lensboard.
To get a flat III-type board is not difficult,
also to made one.
But I would like to ask...
Hi,
I own a Technika III, latest Upgrade (58541) and I' m new here.
Now I'm searching for some lenses (prefer 90mm and about 240 mm, perhaps one in the middle).
As there are a lot of lenses...
