The problem has been solved: it is a complete SWC minus the A12 back.......
Even the finder is attached to it !
An other great find !
Peter
This lens is ment for the Hasselblad SWC and should be attached to the SWC.
Current value between $ 1000,- and $1200,-, so you are one lucky man.
It is a super-wide-angle, nearly distorsion free, a...

I have been using a 250mm Imagon on my Master for years untill I silly sold the Master.
I am using the Imagon on the Sinar P2 now.
The Imagon will fitt: you need the...
Lens in Dutch: mostly a single lens, both German and Dutch belong to the same language group.
Through the influence of th English language both words are used for the same thing: a camera lens....
You want both a 75mm and a 300mm with macro and that cries to me "Monorail", but that is not what you want it seems....
A 75mm and a field: the Shen Hao's, any time: lots of mevements, low weight...
I might come from the diferences between German and English
in German a lens is a part of an objective
in English a lens can be both.

I don't have a Chamonix, will be building a PTB54 from brazilian hardwood when I am back in Holland in 10 day's........
That building myself means that I can make as many modifications to the...
There is one mental thing you can use:
If you are used to 4x5 and take the 4 for the S(hort) and and the 5 for the L(ong) end see what lenses you want to use to make a good looking 2x5 inch photo....
A great idea ! Thanks !
The scale would depend on the ratio/pitch of the thread of the bolt used.
This Philips (Chamonix/Shen Hao PTB) design has so many posibilities for alterations and...
It makes a lot of sense to have your lenses on the smaller board, esp when you look at the room the big ones take when traveling with the camera.
I have almost all my lenses on Technika boards and...
Sory for your loss......
Out here all of us are interested in the old school !
People are still buying new analogue camera's and use them.
Are you planning to use the enlarger and everything...
You just push the cable release into place, if you want to release the cable release use the red sliding button.
The sticking 90mm cable release: it is out of allignment prob.
The cable release...
One thing I would try first: put the lens as forward as posible and than move the back.
If you can not focus at infinity: move the back as much forward and move the lens back untill in focus.
It...
If you want that you might go the route of theadered shooting, that is connecting the camera to a laptop (10 inch) and make a plug-in for one of the programs.
An open program like Gimp 2 might be...
One reason why I use the Linhof quick cable release mount on all my 4x5 and 8x10 lenses: no screwing to do, nothing to break off......

What I can see on the Shen Hao site is the non-folding TFC810-A and the folding FCL810-A, so there are more camera's than the site shows.
You will have to contact them when you want to know more.
...
I have the Shen Hao HZX45-IIA and yes you can move the back standard.
Look here or here,
but I live in Europe.
Peter
A great, restored, 8x10 Century you have !!!
A new camera: I have a Shen Hao HZX45-IIA 4x5 and a PTB54 to be build by my self, so I am inclined to say Shen Hao.
I would look at the movements...
With patience you could restore this camera to a working studio camera for shure.
Just get it into your home !
New bellows, maybe a diferent lens........
Shipping would be the main issue I...
I have the 75 SA and love it.
I bought the 72XL because I needed more coverage.
The 72XL is more contrasty than my old 75SA, both are keepers for as long as I am involved with LF, a very long time...
One type of camera could be build into a watertight housing: an areal camera with an roll film back, I gues.....
Never seen one however.
Peter
I checked my compact P&S, a Samsung D830 that has a manual.... a limited one, too limited.
On the other hand a compact DSLR could do.
I have an Olympus E410 (now E450) that has full manual, WB in...
Sory, the links don't work.......
Peter
You shure did a great looking yob, the result of a visionairy mind and the hands to do it.

I will, I will, but looking at what these guy's sell...
Haven't seen this much together in a long time.

Peter
Nearly any wood can be stained darker exept for the darkest.
A couple of thoughts though: Sen Hao is made in China aswell and their camera's are available in a diferent woods.
Looking at the...
Thanks for posting, Ernest, now somebody that knows such an adress in Europe...
They shure have everthing for modelbuilding...
Peter
It is a pitty, for shure.
There must be other hard woods that look more elegant on this camera's.
Peter
I agree with Ian.
Just use some contact glue sparingly at 3 or 4 points, just enough to hold the ring into place.
By the way, the shutter Ian has can not loose it's screw: they should have done...
I don't know how much film you have bought, if it is a small amount and it is too big you could trim it in total darkness with a rotary cutter with a stop mounted at the right position, otherwise I...
Can you post a pic of it or can you send me a pic by mail of that part ?
It is a bit hard to believe that a ring, even for cosmetic reasons has to be glued into place: how are you going to service...
Great series, realy love it.
Great colors too.
Rural US, North America, for that matter has so much to offer photographicly.
Watch your bellows ! It gets into the way in 2 shots.
On the...
Basicly you can run any flash on LF as long as the shutter has a sync for it.
The older flashes can have their problems aswell: the large capasitors that storage the power for the flash can run...
The 72XL has quite a bit of movemnet: I have the lens on a recessed board and use it with a bag-bellows on my Sinar P2.
Even the 75SA would benefit from the use of a bag bellows, mine is, again, on...
Normaly, there is a ring that threads onto the shutter.
That ring is held into place with a tiny little pesky screw that can be lost so easyly.....
Might have one for you in the second half of...
Will a scan of an Imagon 250mm do ??????
Send me a PM if you want it, the scan is on my computer now and I can mail that to you if you want.
Mind you, the Imagon has 3 disks......
Peter
It depends a bit on your local availability.
If you can get a beautifull aged non-warped piece of solid wood: by all means get it and make a lensboard from it.
But be prepaired to replace it when...
God bless, Lynn, thanks and do stay with us for a long while !
