I think it's the »Manfrotto 359 Long Lens Support«

The dark slide handle can break :(

They work quite well. For BW they are good enough in most situations. I do carry a spotmeter as well – but do not need it too often.
I would't rely on them for shooting slides.
You could use an Lightmeter app on your phone (~2$)
Fortunately you can buy similar profiles worldwide. I belive the system was actually invented by ›item‹ in 1980.

Stupid me, your are right, it is M6 :) Thank you very much!
(By using screws with some washers, ist ist super easy to fix the intrepid 8x10 MKII to the plate without any chance of rotation)

I use an older Manfrotto quick release plate. It has a screw in every corner. An M5 (metric) does not fit, so I think it is imperial. Does anyone know the correct thread size?
How do you protect the ground glass when carrying the camera the the bag?
Thanks a lot for sharing. May I ask what type adhesive you used?
Same here. I ordered mine 22 Weeks ago…
Kodak Aero Ektar 178mm f2.5 covers 4x5 has really shallow depth of field
You might like to see this: https://youtu.be/dcIusrw50PM
Of course, strong enough does not nessesarily equal maximum strength :)
AFAIK the maximum strength of a screw in steel is reached when the length equals the diameter. So for a 3/8" screw the maximum strength is reached when the thread is 3/8" deep.
In aluminum the...
A little WD40 on the retaining ring can help.
Thank you very much for the video. You did a great job and I really appreciate it. I hope to see more of this soon :)
I'd love to see how the camera performs in landscape and portrait photography...
I hope you will share your experiences here soon :) I'm waiting 16 weeks now, when did you order yours?
Extension rails with the same number (same batch?) will fit this camera, other numbers might (will) need adjustments.

You could even make a permanent Arca plate like this: https://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?123534-Quick-releases-for-LF-cameras&p=1256897&viewfull=1#post1256897
Then your Adapter may be off. I bought some and do recommend them.
Since you already have the adapter board, you could use a different (better fitting) Linhof style board (not the Toyo). I like them because they are small (= use less space in the bag).
I honestly don't know, but i don't think that it matters. So let me answer with an article by Lauren Naylor:

Why do you think this has to do with sexual orientation? Propably even more interesting: Why do you believe shooting nudes has to be related to sexuality in the first place?
That is exactly what I was thinking about. Feet would still be nice :)

Thanks a lot :) So the best solution might be to find a plate that matches the bottom plate as close as possible. I still like the ›side arms‹ from the Kessler plate (and the feet).
It looks like...
Thanks a lot :) It is not about the base of the camera, but about the quick release plates, the wider the better :)
The Kessler Stand XL is about 152,4 x 111,2mm. How big is the protruding part at...
Just wondering if the Kessler Kwik Stand XL will fit on the MK II, but I can't find any Image of the underside of the camera. Do you think it would fit?

What is wrong?

Yes, it says Series IX No. 91 Screw-in. I've seen some Series VIII, but not a single Series IX, but now I know what to search for :) Thanks a lot!
Thanks a lot! So it might be a better solution to build something similar around more recent filters…
I also really like the metal hood on the image Steve posted. Does anyone know what the ›name‹...
Ok, so there are no color Filters (like Yellow-Green, Orange etc) that fit in the pola-screen Holder?
Thanks a lot. I like the idea of a drop in filter holder :)
So I have to find a Kodak Series 8 (?) or a Kodak Pola-screen holder, right? What kind of Filter will fit in this Holder?
Just wondering, was there a lens hood for the 14" Kodak Commercial Ektar?
If there was none, does anyone know why?
TIA, klw
The missing part originally is made from some kind of plastic:

I made a replacement part from aluminium. I cut 4mm from...
Hi,
although I found several articles mentioning the ›missing part‹, I could not find any information on how the part looks like or how it is installed.
Does anyone know how the missing part...
At first I thought this would be the problem. But when i tried a longer cable release, I found out about the missing part in the cable release port.
The company that actually makes high quality...
