HELLO,
Seems no one in North Carolina shoot large format!? I am in Matthews, shoot, collect, repair or refurbish old wood cameras.
Would like to hear from anyone in the area who shoots LF.
Jack...
Really like both of the above shots! Good work.
Thanks for all above, still no success, will let it rest for a while, then post later.

Thanks, I have applied penetrating oil, and will try heat tomorrow. Have my son and grandson here this PM.
Will post after my try.
How would be the best way to heat. I do not want to cause damage to the glass.
I have a Darlot lens, no other markings. It measures about 5 inches at about F4 and will cover 5x7 format. The front one piece lens was not a problem to remove, but the back lens I have found...

It has been a pleasure to see all the great photography posted in this thread I started quite a while ago. Good work with a variety of subjects and equipment to compliment each shot.

Don't know if why, but I doubt if the backlog is to large. I will contact again to get more info.

The best bellows I have purchased were from Custom Bellows in the UK. Just ask for a price and was told they are not accepting orders.
A friend that had made several bellows with no taper, made a...

Nice shot, Durham is a good place to shoot.

Alex, I am 80 and when I grow up I would like to make at least 1 shot that could reach 1/2 this quality level.
Jack
I like this shot a lot.

I am perhaps one of a few that know what this machine is: a braider, correct?

Really good shot. I love to snow shots, don't get to make many where I live in North Carolina.
We made a visit to my daughter’s new home Thanksgiving and were pleased to fine she had room to display my mother’s old Singer sewing machine.
The photos were made with an old Graflex RB using HP-5...
Custom bellows in the UK is the best. I have purchased from the UK, Ruti in China and Turner. Ruti give good service at a better price and the quality is fine. Turner in the USA will not compress,...
Moved back film holder 1/4 inch all with scrap wood and gaf tape. Sure all items were level and parallel. Had light leaks so cropped.

I had a visit from my 20 year old grandson a couple of days after cataract surgery. He was pocking fun at my new shades. Later I talked him into allowing me to photograph him with a lens I had just...
Very nice, Jay
Colorado,
From North Carolina Jack, all seems good in your state. My first wood field camera was a Zone V. The 125mm lens choice is good as well, wide is good when in the big outdoors!
