    I would like to stick to Toyo, for pratical reasons. A used Toyo 8x10 is between 800 and 2000$, but they are not that easy to find in Germany.

    I don't think the Toyo and the Sinar share the same...

    Yes, I DID test it on a still life and the problem IS there. I just had this image to show what I mean, I did not scan the still life plates because I thought I'd misfocused 4 times in a row ;)

    Thanks for the reply Ken,

    I forgot to mention that the lens does not have an aperture. I use it wide open, no Waterhouse Stops. I think the aperture is about f/4.

    Yes, i did use measuring tape. Also, i shot it with a digital back so it was easier than with cassettes. I took about 5-6 pictures and moved my head very very very slightly back so i had 2 pictues...
