This is some disused Mine buildings in Cornwall, England. The sea is just visible in the background but unfortunately the fog/haze mostly obscured it but I was still pleased with the result.

I have got a right hand grip that came with my master technika. I have never actually used it and have so far only used the left grip. I notice that the right grips are no longer available. The...

I am still having problems with light leaks. I did some testing with the holders in the spring back.
I noticed that there is a bit of play in that after it is inserted I can pull the film holder...
Yes it's in a compur shutter but obviously from another lens the scale starts from f8.6

Thanks. Interesting about the optimum aperture. These were wide open, I don't yet have the proper aperture scale for the lens so I don't know where f4 is yet!

So you think it is a light leak rather than development problem? I am using a Linhof Master Technika camera I think the camera back holds the film holder pretty tight but will try implementing your...
I occasionally have a negative like this. This was processed in a sp4-45 tank the other 3 negatives came out fine. It always happens like this I get one bad one and the others are fine. I am pretty...
Ha, thanks Johnny. The truth is I am cheating by using the camera handheld using the rangefinder to focus.

Is this to get the eyes in the sharpest part of the lens? Presumably this wouldn't be necessary with a decent modern lens.

I don't think I am able to help with the original question but am intrigued by this technique that you mention. Would anyone be able to explain what is achieved by this and exactly how it is done?

Thanks for your help so far. The one I am looking at buying comes with a flange. The seller says it would need to be cut down to fit on a technika board. Would I also need a spacer ring to ensure the...
I am thinking of buying a voigtlander 240mm f4.5 heliar to use as a portrait lens on my Linhof master technika. I am wondering if it is usable on a technika and if so what I need to get done for it...
Thanks. Yes, they were patient enough for a handheld shot. I am not sure they would have coped with a tripod/dark cloth version so I am hoping this particular camera will come in useful for this type...
I have been trying out handheld large format photography with my Linhof master technika.

It looks very clean. I think it is a relatively recent model. My master technika (from 94 I think) is older and has black focussing knobs. They seem to have later changed to these silver ones. Not...

I particularly like this one Bryan. I am interested to know if you used the Technika hand held for this as I am looking to try using mine in this way. Thanks. Rob.
