Thanks Oren for figuring out the price range for the film.
Looks like there is not enough interests, cutting down always works :)

Went to the PDN show on Sat. After browsed through a ton of digital stuff, I saw a big camera at Kodak booth and there was a bigger man besides it, Mr.Keith Canham :)
We talked a little bit about...
Welcome to the forum, Maria. I'm from Brooklyn too. You are right, there are tons of knowledgeable people here, I learned a lot from this place too.
Like Pete said, maybe it's time for another...
12" dagor for my whole plate camera.
This was a terrific event for me and I had a very good time learning, chatting, drinking and more drinking... but not sleeping, even though Steve provided me a comfortable bed to sleep in.
I know...
Thanks, looks like an excellent book. Amazon has it for 99 bucks.
Maybe the sniffing dog is sick or what else did you put in that box with your order, Eddie?
Maurits, your picture of the Chamonix is much better than those on the official website. Beautiful!
Hugo, you do need some sort of photo editing software to deal with the scanned image. The price is about 300 to 400, I think. Yep, I just tape the film directly on the glass, for 4X5, it has holders....
Great work, Steve.
Amazing!!
Jim, thanks for the hard work. I really enjoy the pictures made by Pinkham Bi-Quality and
Euryscop. Which one is cheaper to get? :)
Very nice shot, Darryl.
I use my 12" for everything also and I really like the lens. My soft focus surgery was done some time back after reading Mark's thread about this lens. It's not so hard to...
Beautiful shots!
Microtek I90 is also a good choice. What I do is to put the negative emulsion side against glass, tape down the corners, no newton ring, just remember to flip it in PS after scan. Use low resolution...
new toy, nice :)
The black ones are custom made. I am sure you can order any of their camera black if you want to.
sounds very good, I will be there.

Yeah, I think I forgot to mention that I shoot architecture in New York city, and run out of rise often because of those tall buildings. I have to tilt the whole camera and use both front and back...
Hi, Per, I'm another Chamonix WP camera user here.
That's what I do when I try to apply rise and tilt for the front stand, I rise it to position first, retract the sliding tabs and loose the...
Thanks Jeremy and Sandy.
I have been using Pyrocat MC for a while now, didn't know it can do a trick like this until now :)
Hats off to Sandy again for developing such a wonderful tool.
Alex...
hi, guys,
I finally developed my negatives using Pyrocat MC 2 bath method.
Here is how I did it.
pre-soak for 3 minutes
solution A (1:20) for 5 minutes
solution B (1:20) for 8 minutes...
Got be patient Andrew. Most of the people got wasted pretty much, I don't think they have the ability to do any developing yet :)
Thanks Eddie, the party was awesome.
Alex W.
Thanks, Ken, the pictures I took this time is not very serious. I have four negatives shot at the same scene, I will do one first just to see if I like it or not.
Alex W.
I am sure will read it and enjoy it fully, thanks for the hard work.
Alex W.
I have being thinking all morning about how to develop my contrasty FP4 negative today, and wolla, this thread came to the rescue! :D:D
I have some pyrocat MC and will give it a try tonight,...
sorry, just saw your post.
Let's say you have to be patient, it took a long time. I didn't get chance to test them yet.

beautiful images, everyone, Gandolfi, I will make it a first stop to see you when I to to Denmark.
It looks really good developed in Ansco 130 1:1 for about 2 minutes. Toning in selenium 1:15 doesn't have any color change, only the D-max is slightly improved, the paper itself is about neutral...
Glad to see another Whole Plate shooter here. I am currently using Ilford special cut films, I normally shoot about 50 images per year, but this year I shot a little faster than normal, so I ordered...
I'm in and will bring some meat :)
nice camera, does the front tilt?
Yep, thanks for the test report, I also just ordered two boxes of the paper after tested some pre-production tiral version of this paper and I really like it.
three leaves
This is just simply amazing!
Thanks, Frank. That basicly is why I want to take the picture this way, but there is always hope, even at this crumbled space, you can still see a piece of sky and the light is still on :)

Nancy, I ended up using 1/16 inch thick brass, about 1 inch wide, dose the job perfectly. I found it in my local machine shop. They use a roller press to make it curve.
