I have a large tent/bag which is 3' L x 2' x 1.5' H x 1.5' W and it's pretty large. I think it is a Fujimoto and was a part of a 1 Hour Photo Lab system. But I had no idea there was anything larger.

A Spped Graphic has its own shutter in the back. Depending of with year it was made, there are differences in how they are used but they are simple and easy. Speeds: 'Really Long (T setting) to 1/000...
Remember, AA did an awful lot of rote commercial work in his career. Unless one has a wealthy benefactor, that is pretty much how it has always been in the arts.
Remember: Front swing plus rear swing = rear shift. Front tilt plus rear tilt = rear rise. The Toyo 45A has both. Will it be enough? Is it inconvenient for you? Your decision.
Don't most shops tell you the price of a repair for approval before they do an expensive job? If you don't want the job done, they charge you an hour or so of shop time and shipping and they send it...
Here's a link to a manual you can download and study to see how the whole thing works:

The way I do this on Pacemaker Speed/Crowns is:

I'll have to look it over tomorrow. I don't have any cams for rangefinders I'll try to get a picture of the logo underneath the focus rack.
These came out really nice. Do you remember what f-stop you used? I'm guessing about f/8? Throwing out the background works really well here.
The only number I can find on the camera is 7879. It is on the front of the front door on the focus rack right underneath where the clip used to hold the front in when folded. I've had it for a few...
I have one that is somewhat like this. It doesn't have the back movements and I'm not sure it has swings in the front. It does have rise and shift. It was missing its back when I got it so I...
Easy solution I use:
Put four pieces of tape on the holder. - two on each side. When you shoot one, pull a pice of tape off corresponding to the piece of film exposed.
Extra benefit of this is...
+1 That's how I do it.
Thumbs up for VinTanks from me, also. I have three of the small 8x10 tanks and they work great. Mine don't have any feet and I haven't tipped them over in the dark yet! I do two or four at a time...
Or use the focal plane shutter.
If your Speed came with a 127 Rktar like many of them did, it makes a fantastic macro lens. A 127 is slightly wide on 4x5 (much like a 35 wide on 35mm) and can only move 1/4-3/8" each way but is...
35mm users push the poo out of Tri-X. I've heard of people who regularly use it at 1600 ISO. One thing they like is the way the boulders look when pushed like that. 4x5 certainly can be pushed and...
OK. I'll admit it. You won the argument. Feel better?
And I bet Sarge cracked up laughing.
First Speed came out in 1917. Made in 4 sizes. Have no idea how many were made. Pretty sure that was more than one single user per camera. Millions is as accurate as anything
Millions of Speed and Crown Graphic users can't be wrong!

Very slow! I never had the opportunity to use Azo with my contact printing but those who have used it praise its' ability to render tonality in shadows. It also took selenium toning very well. As I...
3M 5200? The good stuff takes forever to cure but is very difficult to remove once cured. I have seen boat cleats which have been bedded in 5200 that, when removed, pulled the gelcoat off of...
Restaurants also use stainless steel for their sinks and kitchen hardware. Restaurant supply stores could have something in both new and used.
Consider a 180mm or 360mm Tele-Arton or similar true telephoto lens. If you use a monorail, the shorter bellows draw may not matter but if you have a folding camera, it might.
I would consider...
Was Weegee graphic, extreme or just visually very truthful?
A 50' roll of 5" wide film would give about 150 shots of 4x5 (4"x3 = 12"/1' so 50' x 3 = 150). If anyone knows what a 'Big Bertha" camera is, one of the long roll backs would be great on one. A Big...
Dunno... I've seen this kinds of pictures from all eras of photography. An "artist" must be making some sort of a "point" or "statement" with many of these. A lot of them are just ugly.
Is this back still available new? Not that I will be getting one any time soon. Is 5" wide film still available in any form?
Given my choice, I'd always use straight grade fiber based paper, preferably Oriental G (in the blue box, not the stuff with the big black circle on the front of the box). Or Ilford Gallerie straight...
Yes, a motorized Grafmatic is possible. Buy yourself a 3D printer and get busy... Maybe you can get a gubberment grant.
I'm not sure what types of long roll film is still available but Aerial film...
Oh, Rob. You're such a killjoy.
I've had that same problem with a #5 shutter. This might not be much help but I took it to a dealer who had quite a few out loose (not in sealed packages) and just tried them until I found one with...
It might depend on the needs of the user. If the only thing that is hindering the owner's use of this camera is a leaky bellows, getting a Chinese bellows and installing it himself will be perfectly...
Here's another listing for the job of "Nuevo Ansel Adams":

The "ideal viewing distance" needs to be kept in mind. If a viewer cannot get 1'-2' from the print, the print might not be very effective.
Having the option to go handheld with a rangefinder with 4x5 is nice. Depending on which cam (or any cam) your camera has, it can work really well with a 135 or 150- focal lengths which also work...
Why screw up one of the few flashes that hasn't been appropriated by the Star Wars goons. Sunpak makes a decent flash with bare bulb.
Tri-X works for me. Even comparing new/old formulas and 35mm, roll and sheet (all different) I can get results I like with it. Wish 220 was still available. It was handy not having to change rolls...
If you mean the amounts that I use for processing:
I used to use a tube tank big enough to hold two sheets of 8x10 and two gallons of fluid. I would need the entire two gallons when doing high...
