I don't...
At least the German distributor List a 5x7 "format change kit" for the Classic and Metric cameras and als just all the spare parts alone
...
Maybe Intrepid will finally bring a 8x10 version of their enlarger head at some point. As long as it has a good negative carrier it will probably be decent for building it in a self-made 8x10...
Thanks for the feedback! The Rosenstock would be the right choice because of the size but the contrast makes it a no brainier!
Thanks for the info! The Sironar W looks great weight wise!
For items like this ( even for a way cheaper intrepid, or for that matter all products that are not mass produced ) I expect the company to have someone double checking everything calculated into the...
The official image circle of the SS HM 210mm is a little more than 350mm, is anyone here using the Super Symmar Hm 210mm and can tell how conservative the official image circle is ?
Is it the case...
Since we are talking about Rodinal you either Stored it wrong or used fixer first accidenty. Rodinal should be usable even after years as long the stock solution is stored right and the mixed dev is...

The developer didn't work at all. So you just fixed the Film without developing.
Lupex is great!
I think Fotoimpex is their main distributor and ships worldwide. They should have it in stock.
The Adox RA-4 kit is amazing. It just dev and Blix. Adox says this kit was developed to NOT need a dev Starter.
This is hilarious and genius at the same time
When I finally get my hands on one I will definitely try to build my own and i would also love to make a 5x7 version!
When I had access to one copying would be easy, that's right. But since I dont have that access, it's sadly not that easy.
Yes but I have seen a decent amount where it was obvious that the lens didn't swing even but with changing speed throughout the Frame
Anyone who makes copy of them with equal quality?
Thats exactly why I also want one! I really hope I can find one soon!
Great Picture! Nice to see a Widelux with a lens / swing element in good condition. Most I see have crazy bowing!
I just want this camera so so much! Sadly they are super hard to find and even harder to find in Europe.
The front standard looks way sturdier then the 4x5 / 5x7 version, but in general I think all the Stenopeika folding cameras look like they have unstable front standard even their high end models
How do you like the Stenopeika?
There are basically two types of 300mm lenses. The ones with a Aperture of 5.6 wich are big an heavy and the ones from f8.5-9. They are super light and small.
In wich situations do you use the reducing back? Studio shoots ? Seems like an interesting combo since there is such a huge side difference.
Foma "its ok because our film is cheap, that's why we never offer refunds if our products are defect" pan
I dont know if someone already wrote about it in this forum but Adox recently started selling their XT-3 Developer wich is basically a (better ? ) version of Xtol.
The Linhof are Amazing in so many ways, when you want a camera on the lighter side they are nor for you but when you dont care about weight it dosnt get better
The Canham Metal Cameras are great! How do you like the Motorized 6x17 back ?
If someone really wants to get into 5x7 / is serious about shooting the format Chamonix makes great 5x7 holders. Obviously expensive but better than bad holders.
Thats why I wrote "best" and not best. I don't look for a camera to buy myself in this thread, I am just interested in what people choose as their personal "best" 5x7 camera.
I don't want to know...
3.75 punds is lighter or the same weight as a lot of 4x5s that's great! Wich lenses are you using on it?
Would you buy a vertical only camera ?
Its probably hard to get everything we want in one package but almost is often more then good enough!
Why do you prefer non-folding over folding ?
Inspired by a recent Thread: What is the "best" 5x7 Camera in your opinion and why do you prefer the camera over a different one? It would be also great to hear what you don't like about other...
Yes obviously Stabilizing will be hard with the 800mm+ bellows and the lens on the front of the camera. But I don't plan to use it in windy situations so hopefully it will work out. I want to use two...
The Nikkor T 1200mm has a 310mm Image Circle at f22. So its just a few mm less (?) then required for 8x10.
Does anyone here used this lens on 8x10 and can talk about the performance of the lens at...
I would love to own one of these! But really hard to find here in Europe even when buying International.
I mean the problem there is probably that they don't want to make interchangeable bellows right ?
Chamonix makes backs to upsize a 4x5 to 4x10 ? I thought they only make them the other way around.
