1F3.00M lens multicoat?
What about a homemade coating? A decent lens shade is necessary too.
I went to the Dollar store and found a 14" 1F99c lens in mint condition in original package with instructions and it was a "buy it now" so I took a huge chance and went for it. Turns out it's not...
How about combining one of these with other lens shapes or designs? Time to experiment.
Get some thin strips of Bamboo and glue them together with some poly, water cured glue, and clamp them with a bend in them. When cured they will be excellent springs.
How about 58 and using a Calumet C1 for five mile trail walks? OK, how about a 5x7 for less than a mile, does that count?
Excellent advice, durable, usable, and affordable.
Thanks, a wonderful project with a lot of imagination and skill in building this camera. I have an old Gitzo Studex and it will last for many lifetimes.

Does anyone have a Grafmatic, 45, that fits in the back and locks down with the international slides of a Shen Hao 4x5?
This project is inspiring Joseph, can you estimate how much the camera weights, it looks like you have a 410 tripod head, how is that working for you?

Buy the best and end the quest: Hass Intellifaucet. In dollars US, $545.00 not cheap but it will last a long time and save lots of grief over incorrect temperatures.
They wouldn't cover completely but somewhere on the web someone put the front end of an RB on a view camera, it gave focusing. Kinda weird but it worked, I think they got 6x8 or 9 out of it.
I fully agree with Mark, I'd rather guess and bracket than to stand there with a calculator while the sun goes down.
It was exciting to see you in the episode tonight, this is the best film Ken has done to date. Your parks book with all of those stamps, wow what an achievement!
A beautiful, drop dead young woman went into the hardware store and the man at the counter said "Can I help you", she said "Yes, I need a screw", he said, with the other men looking on, "Yes I can...
I'm so sorry that I cannot give a grant, the series will be a great addition to the library of photograph and history, it's too bad in a country like this that more can't be done to bring these kinds...
I've never used that word before, in his case it is aptly applied.
What happened to the Brett Weston series?
Will any paper be available to those who didn't preorder?
Thanks.
It's what I always thought of Mr. Stieglitz, a cold impersonal indifferent cunt hound. Why people feared him I have no idea, he used people like an old raincoat.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Having either: Too much or not enough.
How many 11x14 films are now available? What happened to the shrinking availability of this format is it on the way out, slowly, I hope not.
This seller has one of the best presentations for product display that I've seen, too bad they are deceptive.
So is mine, purchased directly from Fred Picker, Putney Vermont, it has never failed to give the correct reading regardless of the color of the subject. Reads through filters also.
At $150 doesn't this make it the most expensive paper in 8x10? I wonder what it would have cost if the minimum had been made and the "R&D" costs had been recovered. Was it a rush to market or a...
That's what I'm saying but build one into the shutter with a on-board readout.
Figure out a way to display the actual travel of the shutter and you will have the golden egg of devices.
So if people are still willing to pay say 60 per box why would Fuji discontinue the product? Are they in talks with Kodak? Where is the logic here?
Live far from Sweet Home?
Matt, how about a full length picture so we can see the legs? :D
I checked and Steve has the 3x3 listed as the smallest size so a screen for a 2x3 is out I guess, I would definitely buy a screen from him next time.
It means to see the finished print in the minds eye. I can't do that right now because my minds eye needs glasses and the eye doctor can't get in there to do the exam.
I'm using ideation right now...
Soligor not listed? Wow, who missed that one? It was good enough for Fred Picker to have modified as a Zone VI meter.
Those swap meets, most have stolen goods and crooked sellers, word of mouth is probably the the way camera equipment is hocked off.
And include safe home storage of equipment, it may be the trip to the store or a trip out of the country, it can happen anytime. I like the steel door but talking to a fire fighter I learned that the...
Make a square cone out of cardboard, make a square bottom with a cutout for the lens and tape it to the bottom of the square cone, hold the lens under the cardboard cone, if it doesn't vignette you...
Words can't express how I feel about this, My god what's a guy to do build a bomb shelter to keep your property safe? It's beyond belief, I hope they can be tracked down and dealt with.

Is your 150 a 1980's model?
You two better enjoy the view for one of you it's the last view you will ever see.
