That's a recent collection of images all photographed on 4x5 transparency film. Hope you enjoy!
I believe the conversion kits include both front and rear frames.

I've had very good luck with my Symmar-S. Very sharp and even some decent movement with it. Mine's the one in the classifieds right now. The only reason I'm selling it is I do primarily field work...
Ah, I see what you're saying. I suppose I still haven't had any problems with that. Are you talking about in the panning bases or the gearing? I can understand how the lateral movement would cause...
I don't disagree, but it's just not my thing. The worm drive doesn't sell it enough for me alone. I point my camera down too often and the Cube does its job the way I need it to.
I've never had any problems using my Cube and Arca F-Line at odd angles or with long extension. I max out my bellows extension frequently and have never had any issues with mine slipping or handling...
It's definitely a typo. :) I'll go fix that now. I also use this to carry it:

Since the bellows...
Maybe it's time for a new generation large format photography forum, Ben. I'm with you. I've abandoned the forum almost altogether - especially the B/S/T regulations now. There are some great people...
Awesome. I bought a 450mm, so I'll give it a whirl. Thanks guys!
I'm looking for a lens somewhere in this focal length for my 8x10 color work. I know the difference in weight, which I've already taken into consideration, but I'm more interested in anyone having...
Check these out.

Oh, by no means was I disappointed...just completely different from what I was expecting. The landscape along the eastern Sierras is incredibly inviting photographically, and I plan to return when...
I was up by Bishop Canyon this past weekend and things were looking good, but close to being done. For my first trip out to the eastern Sierras during fall, all I can say is....it's definitely not...
And if you're anything like me, you'll never miss the Hassy because people will constantly ask if your 8x10 is a Hasselblad!
I can attest to 8x10 being a magnet of people...maybe not chicks though. Set that bad boy up at a popular viewpoint in a national park and there will be more pictures taken of your camera than of the...
Don't tell me that... :(
I keep my Arca Swiss 8x10, 4 holders (in laptop cases), and two lenses all in an F-Stop pack. I'm getting one of their newest 80L pack that has an ICU that's big enough to fit everything inside of...
If you've got the budget for it, I'd go Arca Swiss monorail any day.
Here's mine:

:)
Aw, man. I wish I would have known about this sooner. I'll be in LA for a trade show and have other plans Saturday and Sunday. Should be awesome though!
I just picked up a new Arca Swiss F-Line 8x10. Definitely more sturdy than any other 8x10 field camera I've used.
I'm an engineer for RRS and I can say that the current lever clamps will clamp onto the AS plates, but they do not have the same holding force as our own plates. We tolerance to our own plates, which...
