  1. Re: 500mm Tele Xenar 13x18 Sinar Norma Homemade Bellows Supports

Did you know that the Oschwald bros, later Arca-Swiss, did the major design work on the Norma for Carl Koch of Sinar?
  2. Re: 500mm Tele Xenar 13x18 Sinar Norma Homemade Bellows Supports

One more addition. I said 5". They actually used 6" Gels in a magnetic holder. Burleigh Brooks sold all of this the 1950-60s.

    Hope this helps,

  3. Re: 500mm Tele Xenar 13x18 Sinar Norma Homemade Bellows Supports

It is 110mm as Daniel said, and no one really made this size. They used 5" Gels at that time of manufacture, in a holder most commonly.

There are 105mm and some 112mm filters around. Tiffen or...

    Michael,

You might try Precision Camera Works in Lakeway, Texas. I think this is near Austin. help@precisioncameraworks.com. *(847) 470-3350‬

They still work on Copal shutters.

  8. Re: which Spot lightmeter for field use (dead Spotmeter V) ?

Possibly this may work. The 171 to 141 adapter must be on a flat lens board. Then it could work.
  10. Re: 8 x 10 Field Camera with the largest amount of front "fall"?

An Arca-Swiss 8x10 can do a huge fall assuming the lens has the image circle to accommodate such a movement. An indirect displacement, when the base of the camera is tilted forward and both...

    Re: Arca-Swiss 5x7 platform restart

Well, the 5x7 is a great compromise to a larger negative than 4x5, while not quite the weight and bulk of the 8x10. Also many people do like the proportion of the 5x7/11x14/FF, all of which are...
  18. Re: The largest and/or heaviest 4x5" camera ever?
