    Wehman lens boards

I was contacted through photrio and asked about where to get Wehman lens boards. So far as I know, they are no longer made. But it looks as though making new ones would be easy enough. Does anyone know what material Mr. Wehman used? I’ve read in the dark slide thread that some garolite may not be lightproof.

Mine too, and they smell really bad when you cut them (I enlarged one to fit a 6" Metrogon).

I was given 4 when I bought mine, all the same material.

Any decent woodshop should be able to make them I assume. I need a large Betax #5 board cut one of these days, but it's not that important at the moment.

SK Grimes could make them from aluminum.
