Bob, the price may be fair, but if I can't afford it, I won't buy the part.

    Re: TravelWide Repair Question

No price yet. When there is a definite part that can be sold there will be a posting! Here and in the Classifieds area. All I can ask for is patience. This is not being done by a pro fabrication shop (and that didn't work out, per earlier in this thread from SKG), so hard timelines/estimates are not going to be given or adhered to. If for some reason it can't be done I will also post that, but it seems we are in the homestretch. Until I have solid info otherwise I cannot say anything else.

    Re: TravelWide Repair Question

I'm having some things laser cut at work tomorrow so if someone have a CAD-file or some measurements so I can make my own I could ask them to cut some to try out.
I don't have my TravelWide so I can't measure it myself

Bryan, put me on your list of prospective purchasers. Mine is not broken but I also don't want it to be.

Thanks Rick. Yes, I hope everyone will continue to have patience (though I would say that historically TW folks haven't been as patient as they should've been...).

There has been some small issues and I am continuing to correspond with Ritchie in this endeavor. Hopefully we can all get something soon. I would like to remind all of you that I sent my camera to the other side of the world (at my cost!) and have not had it to use for months, and it wasn't even really broken.

I can try and have it cut at work but only in metall.
    How thick should it be?

Not familure with engineering norms, but:

Ihe plastic piece seems to me to be ~ 1mm thick. I would think that would work in brass or aluminum,

PM me and wee can talk about it.

There are only three types of mounting flanges; too big, too small and wrong thread!
