    Thanks Heroique, I always use the viewfinder app, to check the composition and for the lens choice.
    after that is under the darkcloth for fine tuning, and yes it took me some time

    Nice work!

    After I shot the waterfall I posted on the last page, I hastily packed up and my wife and I hiked back to the car, as it was raining while shooting. I realized when I got back I had packed some fresh Portra 160 and really should have shot the scene in color, with the rich brown and red tones of the fallen trees. The rain had slacked so we turned around and hiked back! But once I got there the rain was really going again. I carefully setup again while wiping droplets off the lens constantly. Here's the color shot:

    Thanks John! Yes she is, and sometimes she does carry a bit of gear for me . Currently she wants to learn how to shoot my Rolleiflex so I will be getting her some film to shoot soon.
