A photo I made yesterday at Amicalola Falls State Park. Speed Graphic 4x5, 6" Aero-Ektar, on Velvia 50. I used some front tilt to force the focus plane somewhat up the creek to the lit up area behind - the lens has no aperture and is always at f/2.5.
This one has definitely captured the essence of the Southern Highlands—the patch of light upper left especially packs some soteriological heft for us trout bums.
Thanks CB. I do love the way certain places have late-afternoon light filtering down the creek. I've shot a lot of images in this general area. It's fun to play with different lenses and films over the years in the same place.
Also the Aero-Ektar has thorium staining which acts like a strong 85 filter.
