I present to you my debut shot on a large format.
I took the photo on my way back from the "winter" Ciecień in Beskid Wyspowy. At the beginning I decided not to mess around with standard moves and check how the lens draws on a fully open aperture.
I scanned with a digital camera and then using curves and color balance.

Yannick...wonderful color palette! A question: could you explain what those green and red arrows signify? Trail markers?

Yes exactly. In Poland, this is how tourist trails at the crossroads are marked. I continued the route along the blue trail. Until the end of the road, I had only one thought in my head... Did I do everything right when taking the picture?

A photo I made yesterday at Amicalola Falls State Park. Speed Graphic 4x5, 6" Aero-Ektar, on Velvia 50. I used some front tilt to force the focus plane somewhat up the creek to the lit up area behind - the lens has no aperture and is always at f/2.5.

This one has definitely captured the essence of the Southern Highlands—the patch of light upper left especially packs some soteriological heft for us trout bums.

Thanks CB. I do love the way certain places have late-afternoon light filtering down the creek. I've shot a lot of images in this general area. It's fun to play with different lenses and films over the years in the same place.

Also the Aero-Ektar has thorium staining which acts like a strong 85 filter.
