Thanks. A train comes through about once a week, not sure from which direction. So, I did keep looking behind me ready to grab the tripod and camera and run.

Was distracted from kids climbing up at the top, worried they were going to slip and kill themselves, and forgot to stop down. So overexposed 3 stops and not enough DOF to get the tree-tops sharp, but oh well.

Excellent, you certainly picked the right day of the year--the corona at the top really lifts the scene onto an allegorical level. (Of course a faster shutter speed to catch plummeting sprogs would provide a Dante-esq/Hieronymus Bosch vibe as well.)
