More ice and snow with the Rolleiflex
I know this is no big deal to you northerners but yesterday when I was out photographing I found a frozen lake. I've seen ice on the water before but it is usually only a small area and maybe a millimeter thick. But no, this lake was froze up good - probably could skate on it. I took a big rock and tossed it out into the lake and it skidded all the way into the center of the lake on top of the ice!
I shot a couple images from the bank, where it was especially thick and had some interesting leaves:
And one more...someone took a big rock from the shore and really tried to crack the ice. I lassoed the rock with my camera strap after shooting this to see if it would move but it was totally frozen into the ice.
Love the rock image, Byran. The rocks looks like it's floating above the ice!
