Thanks guys. That's it for LF photos for a few days. Busy parenting today and the light is not right today, and snow tomorrow. Maybe squeeze a power walk in during the work week sometime with the LF camera.
not sure this is Galli style - but I did use a Plasticca lens - 13x18cm negs and then Bromoil...
Galli Style is pretty open to interpretation I think. Thanks!
I went out in the woods with my 7.25" verito, 4x5 speed, fp4+ today. We still have much snow that is slow to melt. I snowshoed, and the tripod half disappeared each times I set it down.

Thank you Ken.
Here is the first two of 16 more negative of the same subject. I went after theses photos out back in the woods behind the house and only took 8 sheets and used them quicker than I thought. I went out again today with 12 sheets and used them up too, slowing down only because the sun went behind a cloud a few times requiring me to stop and wait. It's a joy to see these scenes on the ground glass; white snow bathed in slightly warm afternoon light, lavender shadows, gray and brown trees, green sprills. I don't think I could do color soft focus though, and I definitely can't paint it with any justice.
This first photo of this post I think is pretty rich with the style of a hundred years ago. People were not afraid to make a soft photo if it did the subject right. The 2nd photo is closer to f5.6 and sharpens up a little.
Our woods have enough snow so that I can snowshoe over a downed tree and not know it was there, but for a random branch sticking out of the snow. Same setup as the other photos, but closer to f4. Some of these I used the tripod as a bipod setting a leg on each snowshoe.
