Here’s a heads-up to my ULF friends. Today I tried a 11x14 (9”) f9.5 Wollensak Velostigmat Wide Angle Series III in Betax No. 3 on my 8x20 camera. To my pleasant surprise the image circle just covers 8x20 with little or no movement. There is some moderate light fall off for about an inch in the corners, but resolution there still looks OK for contact printing. This opinion is based on inspection of the negative, not just the ground glass.

It’s a rather rare lens, but one to keep an eye out for. I don’t think you can find a lens too much wider for 8x20.
