Hi Bob! I have notes about the 5x7 V (first sold in 1963) that say it was updated in 1979 to the Vb and sold until about 1986. However I can't seem to find my source for this, do you recall a VB 5x7 model and if so what the updated features were?

Ok, I’ll ask—I’ve had these cameras for a little while but:

Technikardan 45 (not S): 9821464
Master Technika (with a removed rangefinder*): 6415184
Baby Technika (23 or 69–I don’t know the proper names of these, I think it’s a IV): 48171

I’m guessing the 4x5 cameras are 70’s sometime, and the little one, I have no idea but noticeably older.

Thanks, I looked the stuff I got with the TK, and there was a little “Passport” or certificate of ownership that looked like it came with the camera when it was new, it was signed by several people, but not dated.

The date went on the warranty certificate that came with the passport that was filled in by the dealer and was sent to the factory. In return the buyer was sent a few issues of Photo Technique magazine.
