I thought that was possible. I only saw serial #'s in the 30000 range, including one of Randy's camera from a few years ago.
Will do when I get it. Your post from 2016 helped me identify what I think the camera is. You'll be especially interested in the back. Looks either aftermarket but well made or an upgrade at the factory. Standard holders, I am told, fit fine. I'm trading a lens I don't use for it so price is extremely attractive.
I have an interesting assortment of wartime Leicas and Contax gear so this is a nice addition, plus I'm interested in shooting 5x7 more, mostly due to the aspect ratio.
Mine also uses standard holders. The back sure looks OE Factory to me.
The bellows are really well made and long.
Also very light in weight compared to any 5X7 I have seen in person.
Be careful with the back extension adjusting knobs. One of mine came broken with a lost ball bearing. It still locks with 3 of the 4 working fine.

Thanks! Bellows from what I understand need a little work. Liquid electrical tape will probably fix that. My main concern is the lens board - haven't found solid answer about size/compatibility. I am ready to buy an adapter board to standard Tech boards that all my lenses are already on, but I may have to get one custom.
Hi, I've bought a 13x18 Linhof Technika with serial nr. 3346. Is this a Technika I or Technika II? Because they appear to be quite similar models. The lens is a Schneider Angulon probably made in 1949-1950, but could be a latter adition, because the camera has the DRP letters marked, and I presume this was no longer used after WW2.
Many thanks in advance.
thanks again, Bob!
5535 Technika (no rangefinder) thanks in advance Bob
