Hello Bob, I have a new question, I realized that my master technika there are two serial numbers as you can see in the photos that I add at this point which of the two is the right one and then that is the model of the camera and that year built?

The one in the shoe is Linhof's serial number. The other one is Volkwagon's inventory control number. You will have to print the one in the shoe.

Ok so my Linhof has the serial number 6471068 and if I am not mistaken is a Master Technika V???

Volkwagon's inventory control number for whatever reason, was supplied to the German car group or is a special series?

It is a 1978/79 Master Technika. The Master series replaced the V series in 1972.

There is no reason to suspect that it is anything other then a standard Master technika from 1978/79 the VW bought and engraved their control number on. They certainly have that capability in house.

My father has a Linhof Technika in a silver case complete with lenses and filters. The serial number is 81656. Could you give me some more information on the model and year of this camera? Many thanks.
