These cameras are often 50+ years old so it is quite possible for parts to have been replaced or interchanged including the shoe with the serial number.
The tan leather indicates a IV or V. The IV had a tan or ivory interior and bed and the V was dark almost black inside. There is also a spot on the body under the leather with the SN engraved.

The current Master Technika was introduced 48 years ago this past September. Virtually all older models are 50 or more years old.

Bob, do you agree with that? Where would be the 'spot on the body under the leather with the SN'? Under the shoe? Could this be a III or IV Technika?

    Hi bob,

    MT 6455279 ?

How would this MT differ from the current master technika classic offering?

1977. Operationally the same, features, the same, parts, could be differences like shape of knob, placement and type of strap lugs.

Can you confirm it is a T IV (before I buy it)?
Thx so much for your help!

    Compare to these:
    5x7 III- http://www.laflexcamera.com/serviced...e-owner-camera
    5x7 IV- http://www.laflexcamera.com/serviced...beautiful-rare
    5x7 V- https://imgur.com/7wMTab0

The one on your photos has: Chrome back lock knobs, Tan interior, Knob rise wheel, single focus wheel... all indicating the IV...
