Chicago River at River Park just south of Foster Avenue. This was the site of the last waterfall on the river—it was created in 1910 to stop erosion. The concrete dam which was 4 feet tall was removed about 2 years ago and now fish can migrate upstream and lead happy, fulfilled lives. The river is MUCH cleaner than it used to be and many species of fish have returned.
