Lake Bierstadt. Very rare calm morning.

    I love 4x10.

    Anyone else?

    Re: 4x10 Photography

So are we allowed to post 4x10 images shot with a cut dark slide on 8x10 film? I do really enjoy shooting 4x10 for both the ratio and the fact that it allows me to save some film, which often allows me to bracket for exposure on a single sheet, very convenient!

Anyway, here's my token shot of the Shanghai Pudong skyline just before sunset somewhere last week. This shot was made on Fomapan 100 on my Chamonix Alpinist X with 150mm lens, then developed in 1+50 Rodinal and scanned on a flatbed.

That is how I make 4x10s, also, Beano. Great work -- you also have post processing and image presentation down excellently.

PS -- nothing new to share, as I have been printing a few 5.5x14s instead...using a modified darkslide, also. Same proportions, more or less!

I already have a topic in mind, which is the Wukang building (the one with the sharp / acute corner), but I'll need to wait until summer, until the air gets more clear and less hazy.

Just attached this digital image for reference, but I'm a bit worried about the perspective, shifting the 150mm without bag bellows is a nightmare, or perhaps I can get away with the 240mm....
