Does anyone have experience with this (expanding back)? Was it produced by Deardorff? Any idea how it performs? I was only able to find this reference:

http://www.michaelandpaula.com/mp/Az...GID=5160&CID=3

which indicates there could be issues with rear movement, and benefit in extra extension (so less bellows extension)?

I have seen an 11x14 extension back for an 8x10 Deardorff, and it wasn't an entire rear standard as DJ suggests. I have a picture of it if you're interested. It's basically a pyramidal section that mates to the rear standard the same way that the 8x10 back does. It could present problems for back swings and tilts, but should otherwise prove perfectly serviceable. It even adds a little more extension for those long 11x14 portrait lenses!
Thanks for any info,

Bill
