    Danish (strange) camera..

    ..for sale and I want it!!

    "Dania" "Polyphoto" where you can use rollfilm or 13x18cm negs and make up to 12 images on one film...

    To go with it a Heliar - a Imagon - a ross xpress and a symmar..

    Cool set I think...

    Looks like utter rubbish, I'd advise against buying it. Now where did you say it was for sale :P

    Seriously though looks like a good piece of kit.

    Cameras like this were very popular amongst photographers in Scandinavia between the wars. Polyphoto was danish and in Sweden they had multifoto. You shot one plate 12,5x16cm per client with 12 or 16 frames. A hand cranked or electric motor would more the plate and the sitter would move so there was sometimes a cinematic effect. The client would get a nice series of photographs for a relativly low fee.
