    Well - bad news on the lens bought on ebay.... I am unhappy with the image results - they were fuzzier than the pinhole images I made with the freebie lens I got... so I cannot recommend this lens for others.

    Halide - the influencing factors for a pinhole that come to mind are:
    1 - hole roundness
    2 - hole size
    3 - material thickness

    If the aluminum for your laser-drilled pinhole is considerably thicker than the brass that your original pinhole is in, your images will likely be affected.
    I make mine out of .0035 copper embossing sheeting from a local arts/craft store.

    Thanks Dugan - shot a few years back for WWPD - ashamed to say I haven't shot many since.
    Built a nice cigar box camera a year ago and have yet to shoot any 4X5 with it.

    a lifetime supply
