Schneider Kreuznach Componon-S 240mm Lens for 8x10
I just acquired this lens. I was surprised to see this lens is so big. It is bigger than some of the 35mm lenses.
I just wonder for what enlargers this lens was made? I do not know if any enlargers can mount the 65mm lens directly. Or a special lens board would have to be made.
Anyone has used this before? It is for 8x10 enlargers.

I used one of these on a Zone VI Type II enlarger with the 8x10 VC head. It is a great lens and fit the lens adapter with no issue. As Davis stated, the 300mm is even larger.

That is a little baby lens compared to the 360mm
You can mount it at the waist or off the rear element depending on if you use a turret or not (see 2 pictures below). SK Grimes can mount it but it will be cheaper if you supply them with a lensboard for your enlarger. What enlarger will you be mounting it on?

That 360mm lens is cool.
I do not have the enlarger yet to mount on. The lens is new and it comes with the flange, but I just want to make sure if it is 65mm or 66mm. Will be searching for the 8x10 machine.
I do not think I'll be using the 3-lens turret. It is going to be too heavy to mount 3 large lenses together.... Just IMOP.
