Hey all,

My name's David. I'm a photographer (primarily fashion/editorial/beauty, and youth sports - disparate, i know. lol), and a high school photography teacher.

I've been pining to get back to large format photography since the morning I turned in my toyo 4x5 to the lab manager back at photo school 6 years ago. Haha.

Anywho, apart from satisfying my own 4x5 lust, i've decided to incorporate various formats into my students' photography experiences. In addition to 4x5 film, I'm toying with the idea of trying out wet plate collodion as well.

I just picked up a Calumet 4x5 with a mystery Wollensak lens (the lens description was inaccurate, i'm sure, but it was a complete kit and a good price for it. haha). Can't wait to dive into the community here.

So, on with the adventure.
