    Fomapan 100 quality? issue

    Hello all.

I'm having some problems with my last Fomapan 100 batch; its number is 017754-04. As you can see in the image

in some areas, gelatin has scratches and I don't know from where they come.

My fixer is sodium thiosulphate I mix on my own; no hardener added.

Do you think is a quality issue? How can I know if there are more sheets damaged in the box?

    Thanks!

Fingernails? A sharp edge somewhere in the loading process?

The only way to find out if there are more sheets damaged in the box is to take one out and look at it. You'll have to sacrifice a sheet of film, but that's better than wasting your time and shots with defective film.

Are you using normal stop bath? Some films like Efke & Foma benefit from a plain water stop.
