Book review: Photographic Lenses of the 1800′s in France

    .
I did a short review of Corrado D'Agostini's book: Photographic Lenses of the 1800′s in France.

Like everything, it has some flaws. I do however really recommend it...

Has anyone ever tried in inter-library loan on this? I may go down to the National Archives library here and give that a try. They've brought in some rather unusual things for me before.

Edit: never mind, Worldcat isn't giving me any hits, and no google search results for that ISBN number.

Eddie, yes you have this book... We bought it at the same time.

What I could do is, next time there is a big antique camera show and the author is present, just buy a couple of books and send them to Eddie. I am sure shipping 5 or 10 books to one address in the US and redistribute them from there is cheaper and easier than sending the books one by one from Europe to various addresses.

Well, I have a copy of this book now, too. Still available from the very charming Corrado!

Maurits' review appears to very on-the ball, after a quick scan.
Certain not comprehensive, but very good coverage for items which have made their way into the book.

Can someone give me contactinformation (address, phone number) of Corrado D'Agostini? I read he has the book still available and I would like to buy it know. I tried to contact him through his website, but without response.

I am sure Corrado would have no problem with this:
