After I finally decided to use Efke 100 as the only 7x17" film I could afford, I read this...Oh well, really.

Very true. I love Efke 25 (Adox CHS 25) film, 90% of films I use is CHS 25. Hope it will be revived.

    Yes.

I'm considering reprinting some of my old favorites negatives, but is any paper up to the challenge?

Received this today from the Manager, Customer Service & Consumer Direct Sales at Freestyle Photo.
"We have officially been informed by Fotokemika, that due to a fatal
breakdown in machinery, they will no longer be able to coat any more
black and white films or papers. We are working with them to secure any
small remaining quantities of product that they have in stock and will
keep you updated as to progress."
