Bryan, That 210 SSXL covers 8x20 with ease.

At anything less than infinity the image circle is enormous.
Naturally, resolution and brightness drop off a bit, but it's manageable.

I sold all my 8x20 gear a few years ago, my 81 year old frame couldn't meet the demands of 8x20 photography.

    Re: Large Format Interiors

I was told by the usual suspects that the IC was 500mm per the spec sheet so it wouldn't cover. Of course, actual use and experience trumps the spec sheet . Well, I like the format and the contact prints, so maybe if things go well in the next few years I can upgrade from the Frankenstein camera I have now and perhaps even find a 210XL. A tall order. I enjoy seeing your scans of 8x20 here and in other threads.

    Ben,

    Agreed; nicely executed.
    Pleasing symmetry.
Nice rendering of tonality, both inside and outside.
Shadows with substance, mid-tones with character, highlights with life still in them.
    A photo with a story.
