    yeah i know the link and of course christopher james love his book :-)
    hmmmm i found a german supplier for the ammonium feric oxalate guess this is also in powder form will report back if it works :-) why you dont use solution #2 are you happy with the contrast of only #1? didnt try to be honest :-)

    Yes -- I make platinum/palladium prints without any restrainer nor other contrast increasing agents. I expose and develop my sheet film with enough contrast that I do not need them. If I accidentally give them too much contrast, I can use the negatives for carbon printing (tho I understand I might be able to make Ziatypes with them as the self-masking would help me out.)

    Lately I have been making palladium prints from 120 roll film negatives -- for those I use Na2 to increase contrast since my roll film negs usually are not as contrasty.

    Just chiming in, I received old stock sealed 25ml bottles of Sodium Chloroplatinite (Pt Sol 3). I noticed that they have some coagulation—can this still be used? If so, what to do with the build up?
