    Usually spectators have to say in an observation area. But one of the workers started talking to me about my camera and then let me on the field where the skydivers land. I also shot a few color sheets but they had too much motion blur. I think that guy in the jumpsuit thought I worked there or something.

    Hereís a photo I shot in the mid 70ís with a Pacemaker Crown 4x5 my dad gave me in 1964. It has a Schneider 135mm Xenar. It was my first really good camera and I still have it and occasionally use it. Iíd have to pull the negs but pretty sure the film is Super Pancro Press type B in DK50. Love that combination but sadly the film is gone.

    These aren't really portraits, so I'll revive this thread. I brought my trusty Speed Graphic to the big local festival recently and shot a few candids. First one was the MC for the event, who also does a "travelling medicine show" reminiscent of the times this festival is supposed to invoke:



    Second is a young lady who participated in the period costume contest:



    Both cropped somewhat from the original film. Hard to compose verticals with the Speed!
