    Question "Baby" Linhof

I'm looking at a "Baby" Linhof in a kit with a roll film back included. I am curious, can you remove the back with film in it without losing any frames? I would get another back & it would be nice to switch between films. Thanks.

I can't say for sure but I can't imagine ANY roll film back that does not have a "dark slide" of some type.. That's sort of one of it's reasons for being. so you can switch mid-roll w/ different film speed, color/ B&W E6 so on.

It has a dark slide. The film back can be removed at any point by protecting the film with the dark slide. They also make a 6x7 holder for the baby Linhof that slides under the ground glass like conventional film holders. Fun "little" camera.

You can also buy a conventional 6x7 roll film holder.

You should also get the ground glass back for it if you get one.
