    8x10, 4x5 QL Acros

    Folks,

In today's conversation with Jeff at Badger Graphic, he stated that an 8x10 and/or 4x5 QL Acros order might be quite doable, and might even get a discount (like the 5x7 Provia he did recently) if there's commitment for say 150-200 8x10 boxes.

So what's the interest? List what you'd like in this thread.

I'll phone Jeff a week from today after he's had a chance to speak with Fuji reps.

    Cheers, Steve

8x10 Acros and 4x5 Quickload Acros? Like I wouldn't be interested?

I'm interested, but I can't buy a load for freezer storage.

I'm interested on participating on the 8x10 order, how much is somewhat price dependent. gotta be better price than importing it from Japan.

I might have an interest in 4x5 QL, though I have plenty of Acros in the freezer.

I would be interested in a price for 5 boxes (100 sheets). Keep in mind that any price on a box of Fuji 8x10 is for 20 sheets, not 10 or 25. If you're looking for a comparison, make sure you're using the right numbers!

    Hi Steve,
If the price is reasonable I'd be good for perhaps five boxes of each size, give or take, depending on the weather and the other usual variables that can influence film acquisition and usage.

    Re: 8x10, 4x5 QL Acros

Post your interest and I'll keep track. With a volume discount, I'd look for it to be between Kodak's $6 per sheet and Fuji's "normal" price of $9 per sheet. So let's say $7.50 ballpark. Maybe we get lucky and get $6, but I think it's wishful thinking to expect that.

No one expects commitment without a price, but let's separate the wishful from the probable.

So as Chris notes, let's plan - until next week when I speak with Jeff again - $150.00 for a box of 20 8x10 Acros.

    Cheers, Steve
